egh, maybe i'm just nitpicking but it's totally lost on me. A pipe wrench coming after a screaming water drop? I mean, I get what you were trying to do...but it seemed real forced and as an advertisement, I would just scratch my head and ponder why those characters. The animation was good though and of course, the water drop character design was adorable and just right. I just think for selling a plumbing company, it was overly simplistic.

Thank you for the taking the time to give me some feedback, I really appreciate it! I think that's fair to say, this was made more as an entertaining piece rather than an informative commercial, but there will be a voiceover narration on the final that will explain the company more. I will keep your suggestions in mind for my next spot for sure! Thank you! :)

ah, yes....the good ol MX days before Adobe came along and...did what it did. As for this movie, it wasn't bad. It would've been front page I'm sure 10 years ago...but nowadays, it's pretty much dead and buried under the madness rampage movies, which are themselves, on their way out as well. You should perhaps make some more, hopefully your skills have improved over the 10 years.

Yeah I just wanted to get this one out there. I definitely may remake some of it later :)

So you can obviously draw and animate at a better level than most, but you have to ruin it with that awful face design? Or maybe you just get off on putting mouths up by where the eyes are. Hey, whatever floats your boat. As for the flash, I'm all for crossovers but this was idiotic and pointless. If you're gonna remake a scene from Game of Thrones, at least have the decency to carry through the entire joke that was in the show. Iterating some familiar lines from a show and then proceeding to kill two iconic characters from a totally separate game, is just in really bad taste. Or maybe you just really hate Zelda and have fantasies of killing characters from video games you don't like. hey, Whatever floats your boat.

yea yea We've all been in this situation before, and as a relatable experience, it's a relief to know it happens to other people! Cool. As a flash this was hilarious. It's funny, yea but if this happens, I just laugh and even jokingly wave at them as they pass me, even if I look like an idiot. It might seem stupid but you feel much better when you're public with the embarrassment and making light of it rather than letting it destroy you from within. Anyways, great animation, very clean and smooth. I would've liked to have seen more, it's too short.

Hmm. I'm always fascinated by your work, and have been watching since your earliest work. I will admit this was hard to digest, and it seems like since a few years back, you have been creating more artsy thought provoking animations such as this, than say, your earliest ones. (which featured more sensible stories with just a dose of weirdness and odd character) Judging from this latest outing, it's quite clear you've created a genre unto itself which could be titled under"theater of the odd and ambiguous"
There's no question you're talented(your animations always have a level of production quality and are often technically well made) and you seem to put a lot of thought into your work(the detail in the character mannerisms and story layers are extensive) -But I find it's just become a bit tedious to watch. While the charm in your work has often been intrigue, and left people wanting to watch more and more...this just does the opposite. It puts me off. I don't mean bothered or insulted, but rather leaves me bored. As a storyteller, I'd think that is undesired. Granted, this one is part of a dream series and much of the random and strange things happening for no reason whatsoever, can go unquestioned. In my opinion though, you can only leave your audience rolling their eyes for so long, until the charm of what is this all about? wears off. Just my two cents.

visually-amazing..everything else, not so much....

visuals-The 3d modeling of all the characters are quite nice, i really like how they came out. Like i said, visually-its amazing. This is the best i've seen yet on NG for cg and 3D animation so far.
story(or lack thereof)-But to me it looks like you thought- HEY LETS MAKE AN AWESOME 3D MOVIE WITH NG CHARACTERS, but DO NOTHING ELSE.
I was really hoping you'd go into some story instead of this stupid free for all crap. it's so pointless. you put them all in random places and you jump back and forth between the action. this hampers the quality of your movie considerably, and i got bored quite easily.
STORY+CHARACTER PURPOSE=EMOTION. Senseless FIGHTING(in this movie)=BORING AND NO EMOTION. You should know from any video game or movie that characters without purpose or insight, are easily disposable and hardly cared for by the audience as a result.
Sound/voices/music- The sound fx were okay, but hardly there if I strained my ears to hear it. This and the fact Tthe voice acting was hard to hear over the drowned out "mediocre" battle music. i don't know how they recorded the voices or if it was a matter of hardcore compression, but it sounded like it was recorded underwater. pretty shoddy, unfortunately. This among other things took me out of the movie quite frequently, causing me to groan or roll my eyes.
Music sounded like a smash brothers ripoff. I could tell its high points and low points, but overall it was underwhelming and did not contribute to the action in the movie.
Interactivity-it would have been more worthwhile and enjoyable if the audience had interactivity in the movie(apart from the sparse easter eggs) It would have been great if the viewer could choose who would be the winner and then go from there. But it left alot to be desired. (Not to mention, it was ambiguous who was defeated and who was the victor in the free for all portion...)
Last note- This is certainly the right step in direction for 3D animation but it's a shame since i can tell you put ALOOOTT of work into making it look great visually.

good work!

I'm really surprised this hasn't gotten more attention. The animation was simple but very effective for the story. It had a certain charm to it, and it was easy to watch. I look forward to your future animations! I'm not familiar with Eastwood's "Dollars" but i really liked this.
Would like to see some other spoofs you do.
I took off 1 point for the sometimes inconsistent lip synching...you should fix that and then you'll have a really good piece of work! I figure that might be why it hasn't been mass reviewed, people find the sound out of synch a flaw which is a shame.

interesting idea...

for a short. You had a lot of valid points there in your presentation. and the art was very well done.
---BUT that voice narration was excruciatingly bad, not only did it sound like a complete wannabe impersonation of heath ledger's joker, but i just didn't see how it contributed to the rest of the subject at hand. It also doesn't make a whole lot of sense that the voice actor's intention was NOT to go full blown heath ledger but only somewhat..it makes me wonder why did he bother to resemble him at all??.

It would have benefitted the short more if he had done a different voice.
the narration in the video was UNBELIEVABLY DISTRACTING and i kept wanting to click out or mute the sound just so i could sit through the presentation you probably spent alot of work on. Just keep that in mind for next time because that WILL factor in whether someone decides to watch it or click out of it because of something really irritating.

akoRn responds:

i shall look into it. thanks

not bad. i was immersed

you have a good style. and the jokes are very real. Something about this i really liked. it had good pacing and the voice acting was pretty good as well as the animation. i couldn't stop laughing at the "fired" notice. that was a nice touch! you should keep it up, you have potential.

hey guys. what's for breakfast?
